Hmmm, I didn't sleep last night because Iv'e been sleeping late a lot recently, so I stayed awake right through and watched the sun come up then took hound for an early morning walk... it was nice, kind of refreshing, but right now my eyes feel as though they have sand in them.Going to visit an uncle who I havn't seen since dads funeral on Friday, he's pretty old, and quite poorly apparently, so I want to see him before the chance to is gone.

Ehhh, I seem to have lost the knack of doing this, can't think of a damn thing worth saying, heh, I'll fill a little space by just listing the birds that come to my garden each day to feed at the numerous feeder thingies I have hung about the place.

Jackdaws, collared doves, starlings, blackbirds, chaffinches, house sparrows, tree sparrows, greenfinches, great tits, blue tits, siskins, magpies, wagtails, robins, and once, sat on the back fence as relaxed as can be, a sparrowhawk. It's like a feeding frenzy out there most days, I like it. :)

Wow, almost two years since I last posted!! time flying seems a little bit of an understatement to try and describe a gap in time that long... Anyway, just popping in to nose around and catch up a little with some loved and missed friends. :)

Things are pretty good in general, Rob hasn't used since May 2006 which is great, he had to work really hard and we had some difficult times to get through but things are looking pretty good now. My brother and family have now permanently relocated to the USA, and live in a historic part of Virginia where they have just bought a house. The kids are growing immensly quickly so when I evevntually get over to see them no doubt I will feel instantly ancient in comparison!

I lost Avi in August 06, his trauma was worsening instead of getting better, mostly due to the brain damage he had suffered, and his arthritis was getting to the point where he was always aching and often in pain, so I had to let him go. Broke my heart naturally. but after several months I couldn't take the emptiness of the house anymore and so I got  pup from a local farm... she's a cross border collie with god knows what but definately a touch of greyhound/lurcher in there somewhere. :) she's a real sweetheart, clever, funny & good natured, which isn't surprising I guess when you consider that we named her after me! ;) Kerin... and the funniest thing of all to me is that unknown to me at the time but discovered a couple weeks later, is that her birth date is 24th September! Strange how coincidence and serendipity crop up throughout life isn't it. :)
